What differentiates Amata from others ?
One of the ways Amata adds value to its industrial estates is by improving the quality and availability of education in the communities that surround them. Amata recognizes that enhancing educational opportunities in the areas around the industrial estates benefits all stakeholders. Not only will local people have the opportunity to learn and become part of the knowledge-based economy, but also companies that operate facilities inside Amata industrial estates will have access to a better-educated pool of well-trained labor and corporate executives will, in turn, be able to offer ongoing training and development to their staff.
To accomplish this objective, Amata has developed a project master plan that provides space at each industrial estate to support educational institutions. Examples are: |
 |
 |
Thai-German Institute (TGI): Technology transfer and skill development, business |
| |
start up and other services |
 |
Y.W.C.A. Bangkok-Chonburi Center: Young Women Christian Association, which |
| |
founded the Samakmitre Wattana School, a kindergarten with courses and teachings under the Ministry of Education using the Christian Montessori method that emphasizes "Child Centered Care". The facility provides class rooms for more than 80 children aged between 1.6 – 5 years |
 |
Satit Kaset Laboratory School: It opened early 2003. Satit Kaset offers multilingual |
| |
education in Thai, English, Chinese and Japanese for grade 1– 2, with a facility that accommodates as many as 1,200 students |
 |
Suankularb Wittayalai School: The public school offers primary education and |
| |
secondary classes for grades 7 – 12 to around 660 students |
 |
Green and Clean
Amata Group realizes the importance of natural resources. Resource consumption and environmental impact are carefully assessed and monitored to assurance compliance with the company’s commitment. Both industrial estates in Thailand, Amata Nakorn and Amata City, are ISO 14001 certified by the certification body TUV. In both industrial estates, over one fourth of the complete project areas are designated as green area.
In Amata Nakorn, there is also a bird sanctuary under the Amata Foundation program. |
 |
Value Chain
For customers well-being, the Amata Industrial Estates include facilities such as serviced apartments, restaurants, day clinics, worker condominiums, gasoline stations, commercial areas, green and recreational areas with outdoor pools, driving ranges, health clubs, etc. |
