Amata Green Award

There were a total of        entries in this first year of competition for the most beautiful garden spot at any of Amata’s factories either in the Nakorn or Amata City estate.  Each garden had to be at least 12 square meters but no larger than 30 square meters.  The first cash prize award that went to the Bosch factory in Amata City.  The other first prize for the Most Creative garden also was presented to an operation in Amata City…Thai Auto (TAP) was selected as the most creative.  The cash award of 40-thousand baht will purchase a lot of flowers.  Both gardens were also presented with a trophy from the Ministry of Industry.  The total prize money from Amata for the gardens was more than 200-thousand baht.  Nearly two dozen factories took part in this years program, the first of an annual event.
