The Board of Investment is the Thai Government agency responsible for providing incentives and services for investors to stimulate investment in Thailand. The BOI is empowered to grant a wide range of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives and guarantee to investment that meet national economic development goals. It compromises two bodies: The Board itself, and the Office of the Board of Investment. |

The Board, which is chaired by the Prime Minister, is responsible for administering the investment promotion law and establishing overall policy guidelines. The Office of the BOI is the administrative arm of the Board, with overseas offices, in New York, Paris, Frankfurt and Tokyo. |
