Located at Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate in Chonburi province, this world-class private club, opened in May 2005 and offers a spectacular course created by Lee Schmidt of the renowned Schmidt-Curley Golf Design team.
The club meticulously maintains and improves its 7,450 yard layout (championship tees) that includes Asia's only floating green at the par 3, 145 yard, 17th hole. The course with stiff prevailing winds during much of the day is definitely world-class and will test, tease, penalize and reward every golfer who decides to play a round.
Amata Spring Country Club has hosted The Royal Trophy Golf Tournament, a team competition pitting Asia against Europe and many other prestigious tournaments like the Honda LPGA tour.
The beautiful club house sports a Spanish motif and houses two restaurants, including 'Diciotto', an Italian restaurant known for its good food, wine and cigar bar and excellent views of the 18th hole. 'El Nino', the second restaurant, features an international café with all-day dining, an extensive lunch buffet and a comprehensive a la carte menu. 'El Grande', a series of function rooms that can be converted into a ballroom with private terraces and impressive views of the golf course, is used for private functions.
