“Farm to Factory” Project Promotes Chilli Sauce to be Sold to Amata Factories

Posted on | CSR News & Activities

The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) collaborated with Amata Corporation's “Farm to Factory” Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, helping the Nong Kratumnok Housewife Group in Panthong district, Chonburi to develop their chili sauce brand. The “MP”-branded chili sauce, available in three sizes, was officially launched July 20, 2021. The sauce will be marketed to Amata City Chonburi factories and nearby communities.

IEAT and Amata contributed guidance and support, including the design and printing of a professional label and assistance to obtaining Food and Drug Administration (FDA) product approval.

The “Farm to Factory” project is an initiative to support communities surrounding Amata industrial estates by marketing locally-made produces to Amata factories. Amata City Chonburi industrial estate, including surrounding and adjacent communities, has a population of over 800,000.

Last year, the CSR team initiated the “Factory Kitchen” projects to provide a bridge between producers and buyers, promoting safe vegetables and other produce to factory tenants.
