"Amata Fights COVID-19" Campaign Webinars with Customers

Amata Corporation invited its customers to participate in webinars on August 23, September 8, September 10 and October 7, to understand the current COVID-19 situation, especially the challenges that companies are facing and its impact on factory operations at Amata City Chonburi and Rayong industrial estates. Specific strategies were discussed to support factories during the pandemic. The online meetings were chaired by Amata Chairman Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, and co-hosted by Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) Deputy Governor Mr. Porntep Puripatana, IEAT Amata City Chonburi Branch Deputy Director Mrs. Buppha Kawinvasin, IEAT Amata City Rayong Branch Director Mr. Apichart Sektheera, Chonburi Deputy Public Health Director Dr. Wichai Thanasopon and Vibharam Amata Hospital Director Dr. Dhanoo Lawbundis.

 

 

On September 10, Amata conducted an additional Chinese-language webinar for its Chinese customers at Amata City Rayong. Together, the webinars drew more than 1,000 participants.

Various facets of the "Amata Fights COVID-19" campaign include providing customers with face masks, antigen test kits and a herbal medicine, Fah Talai Jone, preparing a field hospital and community isolation center at its Chonburi estate, working with authorities to support a local vaccination site, Amata Castle, and donating medical supplies and equipment to local authorities, officers and volunteers.

Amata is distributing 500,000 medical masks and 30,000 antigen test kits; and as of October 7, more than 2,000 bottles of medicine were provided to 148 factories.
