AMATA and Kao Industrial Thailand Practice Fire Drill

Posted on | Business News

Don Hua Lo sub-district administration, The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and AMATA Facility Services Co., Ltd. jointly conducted a fire drill to practically exercise emergency response in case of chemical spillage, gas leakage and or fire on the grounds of Kao Industrial (Thailand) factory at AMATA City Chonburi industrial estate.

Thankfully, fires do not often occur. Nevertheless, it is important to regularly hold fire drills to minimize the damage of fires when they occur. Each manufacturer has different fire safety plans and protocols on certain buildings, production processes and storage of raw materials etc. There is great value in actively looking for potential hazards during such a practice ensuring the plans stay fit for purpose and keep everyone safe.

On April 24, 2023, ahead of the fire drill, the partners organized a Tabletop Exercise (TTX) on the annual meeting 2023 between Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), Don Hua Lo sub-district administration and AMATA Facility Services Co., Ltd. to discuss and update emergency preparedness in the event of chemical spills, gas leaks and conflagration. The meeting was held at Kao Industrial factory in AMATA City Chonburi and was chaired by senior management members and executives.
