Amata Spring Country Club is an exclusive private country club featuring one of the most prestigious and recognizable championship courses in Asia. Voted by World Golf Awards as Thailand’s Best Golf Course in 2018 and 2021, the championship 18-holes par 72 course has been home to some of the biggest golf tournaments in Thailand and hosted the world's best players.

The golf course was designed by famous golf course architect Lee Schmidt of Schmidt-Curley Design, the firm has executed more than 100 layouts in 24 countries. The championship layout measures 7,500 yards loops around two vast lakes offering panoramic views of the golf course and features Asia’s only floating green hole #17, and the second floating green in the world.

 

 


The course record is held by Lee Westwood who carded a blistering 60 in the Thailand Golf Championship in 2011, his 1st of two wins. 

Amata Spring Country Club hosted the Inaugural Royal Trophy in January 2006 (European Team & Asian Team), the First LPGA event in Thailand’s History in October 2006, 2nd - 3rd Edition Royal Trophy in January 2007 and 2009, and 1st - 5th Edition Thailand Golf Championship in 2010 – 2015.

It won numerous awards including ‘Voted as the Best New Golf Course in Asia in 2006’, ‘Voted as the Best Course in Thailand in 2007’ and selected by the players as the ‘Best Course on the Asian Tour in 2011 – 2014’.

Private facilities include a swimming pool for members and villa residents.

Public facilities that Amata’s customers often frequent include a massage room and a driving range, the most complete facility of its kind in Thailand, and two Food & Beverage outlets, namely an all-day café serving international and Asian cuisine and Italian Restaurant ‘Diciotto’. There are also several function rooms available offering superb views on the lakes and greens.

Nestled within the golf greens are private 3-bedroom golf villas inspired by southern Californian homes of Spanish design, that can be rented for short- or long-term stays.

Amata Spring was opened in April 2005 at Amata City Chonburi industrial estate and is a private golf course for members and their guests only. It is developed and managed by Amata Spring Development Co., Ltd.
