The five-star rating was awarded to both companies for the fourth consecutive year.

Since 2001, the Thai Institute of Directors Association, in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, has annually assessed corporate governance practices of listed companies. The CGR studies have contributed significantly to an improved corporate governance paradigm in Thailand.

The 2021 report evaluated a total of 716 listed companies, with the average score being 84 percent. Based on this score, all were rated between one and five stars. Thirty-seven percent received scores of 90 percent or higher, earning the five-star rating.

A total of 241 assessment criteria in five categories were developed by referring to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Principles of Corporate Governance, as well as Thailand’s Corporate Governance Code for Listed Companies.

Amata is permitted to display the National Corporate Governance Committee logo with their five-star rating.

Survey results were published in the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies (CGR) and distributed to all listed companies and other related organizations.
