Amata Hosted Kid's Day Activities

On January 25, 2019, Amata City Rayong held the closing ceremony for Amata Junior Week 2019, a week of activities on the occasion of the Children Day.

The event, under the theme of “Happy Sport, Happy Kid’s Day” had started on 15 January, including 800 children from 27 schools from the area near Amata City Rayong industrial estate participating in many activities such as singing contest, drawing contest and booths with fun games. Moreover Amata hosted a sport competition for students to join and compete in Football, Volleyball, Petanque and Rattan Ball.

The event aimed to encourage children to participate in sport and fun activities. Amata City Company co-hosted the event with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and thirty companies from private sector, customers with manufacturing facilities at Amata City Rayong, such as B. Grimm Power Company, Sumitomo Rubber Company, Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Company and many more. Collectively, the participating companies donated some 200,000 Baht, which was given to children to support education.

Finally, food at the closing ceremony was handed out in environmental friendly banana leaf containers, as plastic bags contribute to global warming and cause a major problem to the environment.
