Vaccination Status Update: Amata City Chonburi

On July 8, 2021, the Thai government launched an official COVID-19 vaccination program at Amata Castle in Chonburi province for the benefit of Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate’s factory workforce.

The effort is a cooperation between Amata, the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Labour's Social Security Office, Federation of Thai Industries and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). All factory employees who are insured through the government's Social Security office under Section 33 are eligible for vaccination.

As of August 17, 33,477 doses had been administered, an average of 1,500 doses per day, with the aim to increase the rate to 2,000 doses per day over the next few days and weeks. Continuous efforts are being made by all parties to maintain adequate supplies of COVID-19 vaccine.
