Bangkok Industrial Gas Company (BIG) donated ten oxygen tanks to field hospitals at Amata City Rayong and Amata City Chonburi. The oxygen will help COVID-19 patients who require respiratory assistance.
The Amata City Rayong field hospital was opened on August 4 and the Chonburi center on September 28.
The handover was presided by Bangkok Industrial Gas Company Commercial Director for Merchant Business Mr. Mechai Amornruttanabongkot and Amata Corporation Director and Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Viboon Kromadit.
In 2018, BIG and Amata Corporation. signed a joint-venture agreement to establish Amata BIG Industrial Gas Company, which is to become a one-stop industrial gas solution supplier to factories at Amata’s industrial estates through its direct gas pipeline network.
The venture will also supply manufacturers operating within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area. The company constructed of a nitrogen plant at Amata City Rayong, which was commissioned in 2019.
