Grand Opening of ANCA Manufacturing

ANCA Thailand recently celebrated the grand opening of a new manufacturing facility at Amata City Rayong industrial estate.

ANCA was founded in 1974 to design and manufacture high technology Computer Numerical Controls (CNCs) for the machine tool and metal-based industries. ANCA CNC grinders are used for manufacturing precision cutting tools and components across a diverse range of competitive industries including cutting tool manufacture, automotive, aerospace, electronics, woodworking and medical.

Today, ANCA has become a leading designer and manufacturer of complete, precision CNC tool and cutter grinding machines in a global niche market. The group employs some 1,000 employees and serves customers in 45 countries around the globe.

The new facility at Amata City Rayong is a multi million Thai baht investment, it is equipped with a sales facility, training rooms and a larger machine assembly and process development area.

The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Pat Boland, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ANCA Group (second from left). Honorary guests included H.E. Mr. Allan McKinnon, Australian Ambassador to Thailand (center) and Ms. Duangjai Asawachintachit, Secretary General of Thailand Board of Investment (second from right).
